By now a fashion classic, our Sami Quilted Handbag takes you perfectly from season to season. The soft leatherette is quilted and accented with brass hardware and a solid brass chain shoulder strap. The antiqued chain can be attached when you need to have your hands free, or stored inside the bag when you prefer the look of a satchel.

The top of the bag is structured with a frame and clasp closure and gives the appearance of a doctor's bag when opened. The inside is lined with jet black fabric and includes one zippered pocket and two open top pockets for storing smaller items.

I LOVVEEE THIS BAG

i just recently purchased this bag and was sceptical of it being made out of "leatherette" but it is actually very durable. it is SO CUTE and makes it incredibly easy to locate things in my purse (other than having to scrounge through it for 10 minutes to find something). I love this bag!

Tons of Room!

I was a bit concerned when I purchased the bag about the size and if the interior would be large enough, but decided to splurge and make the purchase because of it's resemblance to designer bags and affordability.
Boy was I shocked! The bag is huge, was well wrapped when I received it and fits everything I used to squeeze into my other purse, plus more!
Great texture and metal accents - the metal closure works great without any annoying 'snap.' I took the metal chain off, but love the look of it when attached.
Lining is great and with three interior pockets and one exterior, there's plenty of room for important info, makeup, business cards and car keys.

good deal

very nice bag and nice purple color; it's squeaky (I think the squeak is where the handle meets the metal rings), but it's a very nice bag; roomy and easy to find contents since the lining for the purple bag I got is light colored, the opening is wide and the bag isn't too deep; there was a marking on the twist lock, but for the price, I can live with it.

perfect bag

I love this bag! I have it in black, although I considered getting purple. I just thought black would go with everything. Its a perfect bag though! It looks nice, I like the chain. The only thing is that the bottom of the handle is starting to unravel a little bit, but its nothing a little stitch or two will take care of, and its not noticeable.

very versatile

i just got my bag in the mail & im very happy with it! soo classic & vintage! Its a little bigger than i thought but thats not a bad thing. I can fit all my stuff in it with plenty more room! The opening is different but it gives the bag its unique quality. I was also glad to see the four studs on the bottom of the bag so setting down alot wont be a problem. This bag can go with anything i wear!

Lovely bag!

The sami quitled handbag is the most adorable bag i've bought. It makes you look so trendy and i just love to carry it around. The chain is really nice, because it becomes a great accessory when matching it with golden colors and jewelrys. The size is just perfect, not too big and not too small. I can fit any small and medium sixed items. Although the one thing bothering me is the frame and clasp closure, which makes it sometimes difficult to open up the bag and also difficult to tuck in the shoulder straps inside of the bag, when carrying it buy the chain. But other than that, it is a really great bag, which puts a nice closure to any outfit :)

The SAMI Handbag

Got the Sami in Red. Just want you to know this is a bright red. Luv the opening on this bag; so much better than zippers. So much room in this handbag too. Great bag!

I waited for the black bag to come back into stock for a long time until i finally decided to get the purple. It is a beautiful bag and i get many compliments. The purple is like a deep plum and the chain goes great. It is a little squeaky but has plenty of room for all my things.

A MINUS

I've been using this bag for about two weeks. It is very spacious and I can fit a water bottle, planner/calender and a netbook in it with more than enough room. The only problem i have is the opening clasp it gets stuck sometimes and it has pinched the skin on my fingers. It takes getting used to the trick of opening it. Also the handles meeting with the metal created squeaking for a few dats but it is gone now!

Glue?!

When I received the bag, my first reaction was ADORABLE! Upon further inspection, I noticed the backside of the bag, near the clips, was a red glue like spot. The clips were a bit sticky and there seemed to be glue along the top.

awesome hand bag

i purchased this bag in black about 3 weeks ago, it got to me 5 days after ordering it and i have to say that i am very happy with it to a point that i am planning on buying it in red as well it's roomy enough for me to fit everything in it and honestly in person it looks great and very expensive looking and im already getting lots of compliments on it. you can hold it by the handle and also the handle goes on shoulders real well. i have the chain strap attached to it and it makes it look even better. overall im very happy with my purchase.

I have searched high and low for this bag ever since I saw celebs carrying the March Jacobs "Stam". The Stam is priced at a whopping $1300, rent for most of us mere mortals lol. So when I came across the "Sami" I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the bag! And I loved the price! Maybe one day I'll be able to afford the Marc Jacobs one, but for now I'm happy with the Sami.

The Sami Quilted handbag is everything i thought it would be! It looks JUST like the Marc Jacobs Stam bag, there\'s really no difference except for the price. The leather doesn\'t feel cheap at all. And the gold hardware is alright too, not too cheap looking, but not too expensive looking either. The bag is big on the inside and will fit a lot of things! Love it!

Nice Bag

I just purchased this bag and am very pleased with its appearance and size. Its Super cute and looks more expensive than it is. It a great bag to carry around. My only complaint is that once you got all your stuff in it then decide to use the strap, after getting tired of carrying it on your arm, the chain strap disconnects if its not straightened properly before you put it on your shoulder. I learned this by dropping the bag many times while out as I casually put the chain strap to my shoulder. It somehow opens on its own and discconects from the bag esp if the bag is heavy and you dont straighten the chain as you put it on. There is a factory smell to it in the beginning which dissappears after a while. Nevertheless, a great purchase and I love this bag!

Almost Perfect

I absolutely love this bag! The only bummer is the "clasp closure" scratches the brass really bad when you open and close it. It does not rub off either:( So disappointing.

Great deal!

Really love this bag. Been using it almost a week and it's awesome! Love how it keeps it's shape and actually has feet to protect the bottom. The only complaint is that the clasp is pretty hard to open and close all the time, I tend to keep it almost closed so I don't have to struggle with it when I'm in a hurry. Otherwise, you can't beat it! Also, because it's not real leather, it's super light for how big it is, which is helping my arms already! :)

Noy what it appears to be.

It was smaller, cheaper, the handle fell off in the parking lot of the train station then in front of my coworkers the first day, i went online and we saw others we all wanted to order, but when we found out you dont get re-embursed for shipping and then have to pay to ship it back we all changed our minds how unfortunate.

Its a great bag but......

I was simply excited to receive my Sami bag in black. It is everything they claimed it would be but i have 2 issues. One the clasp on top which is gold came rusted and two the chain snaps constantly when you put it on your shoulder if its not aligned correctly to the sides. You just have to make sure its aligned right. But if you are always in a rush like me and throw it over your shoulders the clasp snaps. Other than that its a great bag and I received a lot of nice compliments. I will definitely order from Handbag Heaven again.

CUTEE! + problem solution!

Just got the bag in! Love it,very cute!
couple of pointers:
- the bottom is nicely enforced.
- a litle bit darker than in the picture (i got the cream color) it looks very defined beige.
- hardware is a litle bit multicolored. meaning its not so goldy, but has some brassy undertones shine trhough. thats fine with me. at least it doesnt look like cheap shiny shiny gold. its a plus.
- does make a screetchy sound. i dont mind though.
-the clasps are a litle screatched,.
FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CLASP:
- yes it is hard to open it. BUT
if you take a candle and rub the two metal pieces that collide together it slides pretty easy. i dont find it a hassle to repeat onvce in a while.

Loveeee this handbag!

i lovee it! its so cuteee and you can fit so much things in it! i just had a problem with the chain handle since everytime i try to use it as a shoulder bag, the bag always falls because the little lock thing connected to the chain loosens. but overall really great and cute bag to bring everywhere! :)

Overall Great Bag - One flaw

I received this bag last week and it was just as how I expected it to be. The material was nice, thicker than I thought it would be. The only flaw was that the brass clasp part was scratched and had some marks on it that can\'t be wiped off. Love the style though :)

Purple Sami

This bag is fantastic! I got it in the purple which is like a deep plum in person, which I think looks great with the gold. The bag is pretty big and fancy looking, I can fit everything I need and more into it. I love the way it opens, like an old fashioned bag and is easy to snap shut. The leatherette is nice and soft but not too heavy, so the bag is pretty light in weight. I also like how this bag is something that not everyone has and you can't find it in stores (unless its the real Marc Jacobs I guess) so I feel like I am carrying around a unique bag. Almost Perfect

Awesome Handbag! Everything came just as described and I am overall very pleased with the appearance. I got the all black version. The materials are very nice and seem like good quality for the price.

Only reason I am giving it a 4-star rating is because of the chain. Looks great...but I was looking forward to wearing the chain over my shoulder.
Well, it seems to be more of a decor factor to the purse as it slips off constantly whenever I try to wear it. I might try to find a way to bind the chain to keep it from un-hooking.

I just got the bag in purple, and basically what everyone has said before me is spot on. The gold chain is a little brassy and it squeaks a tad, but nonetheless I love the bag! chain comes off

I love this handbag and ive gotten so many compliments but there is just 1 problem, every time i throw it around my shoulder one side snaps off from one end of the purse. Its not broken or anything i think the snaps are just not sturdy enough.

ADORABLE but broke...

I absolutely LOVE this bag. It is gorgeous! And so affordable also! However, one day when I grabbed the bag off the floor from the two clasps, one broke off and it can't be fixed. So now my bag does not close and is rendered useless.

Versatile Handbag

I love this bag. I chose the pewter and it's so nice. Great quality, love the classic clasp closure; it's easier than a zipper to close every time, so there's no mishaps with things falling out. I got my bag in the mail yesterday and when I received it I noticed that even thought the top clasp was wrapped it had scratches on it. Also, I picked the purple bag and the inside lining is black- not tan.
However, I do like this bag a lot, I enjoy the studded feet on the bottom, how much room there is, and the color.
If you're having difficulty opening the clasp, rub a candle where the claps touch and they will slide a lot easier!
