There are no pockets or embellishments to distract from the sheer beauty of the Hartford.

Double zipper pulls allow you to zip this beauty opened or closed from both directions, and the extra long zipper allows for easy access to the entire tote. One zippered pocket and one open top pocket adorn the inside of the color coordinating lining.

Lovely handbag!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my handbag in 3 DAYS!!!! When I opened my package I see this well packaged handbag wrapped in multiple papers. I was shocked to see how beautiful this handbag really looked in person. The handle is black and the handbag does have brown and black on both sides with more balck towards the bottom. It's a perfect handbag for us ladies who don't like switching handbags to match our black and brown shoes. It has the best of both worlds concernig the color. It has lots of space inside and an extra added plus is the zippers lets the handbag OPEN so all can be seen inside!!!! How wonderdul that is! It's a GREAT handbag can't go wrong! Even my hubby said how elegant my handbag is....nice!

Very Nice

Quite roomy inside and holds shape well, so it doesn't fall over when I'm rooting around in it. Agree will Nel, elegant. Looks much more expensive than it is. Lent my whole outfit a more sophisticated touch.

Such a great purse!

I dislike the modern trend of slouchy, messy hobo bags, and this certainly bag is none of those things. It is structured, attractive, and very roomy! If I changed anything, I'd make lots of matching accessories for the interior, so I could more easily find my checkbook, car keys, and cell phone since everything has a way of diving for the bottom of the bag.

Very Classy

I was looking for a dressy bag that contained both black and brown. The Hartford looks even richer even person. I wish there were more inside compartments, and that the clip on strap was a bit longer and thicker, which is the reason for the 4 stars. If I rated it purely on appearance as a satchel type bag, I would give it a 5.

Hartford Patent Tote

This is a great looking handbag. I already had another bag in a similar shape but wanted one that was darker. This one is really well made. 2 cons to the bag - 1. no feet on the bag to protect the bottom, 2. would have liked an inside pocket or pouch for my cell phone. Right now it ends up at the bottom of the bag with everything else. Besides those things I really like it. The bag was well shipped and protected and for the price overall it cannot be beat.
