Oh, Isabella, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. (I’ll just give you three.)
Stone cold. The Isabella Ruffle Hobo is a gorgeous stone grey color, with a slight visual texture to the fabric. The smooth leatherette is surprisingly soft, which is a great contrast to the tough hardware of the strap. With a matted finish, the grey fabric is incredibly chic.
Heavy metal. There’s not a lot of detailing on this bag, but what IS detailed is tough. The strap is lined with short, tubular (totally) metal parts that stack on top of each other, but separate when you move the handle around. I’ve never seen a handle like this, but I love it. My first thought was that it would destroy my hair when it put it up on my shoulder, but that never seemed to actually prove true. Not complaining!
Ruffle duffel. Alright, it’s not really a duffel, but hobo doesn’t rhyme. The Isabella has two seams of gathered fabric going down, around, and back up each side of the bag, but what’s better is that the seam actually has elastic in it, thus the bag shrinks and grows according to the amount of contents in it. Awesome? Absolutely.
The Isabella Ruffle Hobo is a bag for bag lovers. Some may think she’s plain, but those who take notice of the expert combination of the hardware, monochromatic scheme, ruffle, stretch, and shape will fall for her. Hard.
I’m really proud of myself for not mentioning the obvious Twilight relation. Bella? Crescent moon-shaped bag? Grey? Let’s not pretend like carrying this bag wouldn’t make you feel like a vampire, okay? twilightsqueeeeal.
