Pinterest Round Up: DIY Jewelry

If you haven’t noticed, the Handbag Heaven girls LOVE crafting. In fact, our excessive DIY-ing has left our little office nook covered in glitter (and sometimes paint) and strewn with the fabric scraps of projects past. Most visitors probably mistake us for a gaggle of crazy art teachers instead of writers and marketers.

So in the spirit of all things handmade, and because we’re feeling a little glittery today, we’ve decided to share a handful of DIY jewelry projects from our favorite site — after Handbag Heaven, of course — Pinterest.

Enjoy the collection of sparkle and shine and pick at least one project to try. Because, hey, what girl doesn’t need another item of jewelry?

Sometimes the simplest pieces are just enough to take an outfit to the next level. This elegant chevron necklace is totally customizable so pick your colors and go wild!

Love thumbing through the pages of an Anthropologie catalog, but can’t fork over half your paycheck for one of their fabulous pieces? Then try this Anthro-inspired scarf necklace.

Just in time for spring, get a little nautical with these jersey knit bracelets. They mimic the traditional sailor knot bracelets and would be a fun, colorful addition to any outfit!

The finishing touch on all my ensembles? Rings. These small accessories are a great way to add color or a bit of shine to any get-up. I can’t wait to make this leather-wrapped ring!

Finally, this turquoise braid necklace will be the starring piece in many of my spring and summer outfits. It looks deceivingly expensive and is sure to be a conversation starter!
