Dressy, Dressy!

The rise of the peplum will be in full swing this fall, in addition to embellished collars. This white peplum top with a jeweled collar pairs perfectly with black flood pants and studded black pumps, making it perfect for a day at the office. Add some color with this Paulina lock satchel. Darker jewel tones such as emerald green are a must this season, and an oversized satchel never goes out of style.

Military Mania

Military looks will also be making a comeback this fall. How cute is this green military jacket and perfectly flared denim? Accessorize with a brown belt with a big gold buckle, and this Shane faux fur leopard sling bag. Fur handbags were all over the runway during Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Week, which we love — faux fur, that is!

This final look is a sure winner for fall! Combining the latest trend of burgundy and slouchy, oversized sweaters, you are sure to impress with this comfy knit, black leggings, and tan heeled booties. Complete the look with fun gold accessories, but be sure to not overdo it. Wicker, woven, and rafia handbags are another fall handbag trend gracing the runway this season. The Evelynn woven satchel completes your ensemble for a truly paparazzi-ready look!

Just as clothing has seasonal trends, handbag styles are also changing as we move from summer to fall. Upcoming this fall you can expect to see bags with bold prints; textured materials such as animal skin or wicker; faux fur; warm neutral colors of tan, brown, and black;  funky embellishments; and colorblocking. Keep these trends in mind as you begin looking ahead to cooler weather and you can’t go wrong!
