Meet Milana, the lovely editor of Fashion Style Advice. In her corner of the web, Miss M, delivers everything from celeb look how-tos and trend reports, to essential guides, including “7 Items You Should Not Save Money On” and “How to Find the Perfect Bra.” This lady’s sartorial tips are not to me missed, so read on for Milana’s take on our favorite accessory.
Q: Tell us a little about current handbag trends.A: Handbags are definitely going to be very colorful this year. We are also going to see the handbag as a statement and very unconventional bags like the ones depicting animals.
Q: What is your personal purse style?
A: I like classic handbags that can be worn ten years from now, but I like them to be a bit edgy at the same time. I try to find bags that mix that classic look with a bit of a modern twist like ruffles for instance.
Q: What’s in your purse, always?
A: I always have a little first-aid kit with a concealer, a mascara and a lipgloss. I also usually have a mini perfume so that I can freshen up. I actually do not have a lot in my purse.
Q: What advice would you give someone struggling with which handbag to choose?
A: It all depends on how many bags you have. If you like to stick to one bag for a long time go for a bag that has room for many things and a classic look. Choose a color that suits the rest of your wardrobe or maybe even freshens your wardrobe up a bit. If you mostly wear black and grey clothing, choose a dark purple bag. But make sure to choose a bag that you can stand to look at and won’t get tired of.
Q: Tell us about your blog. What do you hope to accomplish with it?
A: FashionStyleAdvice is about fashion tips for everyday women. The mission of the blog is to get all sorts of fashion advice centered in one place. There are so many blogs out there about fashion, but most of them are fulfilling the purpose of being inspirational. I wanted to create a blog where women could find advice on how to wear what, when and where.
Q: Is there anything else you’re dying to share?
A: Wear your favorite clothes every day!
